There was so much surrounding the second-to-last game of the season that perhaps the football got a little bit overlooked. As Denison hosted Wylie East, it was Senior Night, Pink Out and Halloween all rolled into one evening that had a much more important aspect: the Yellow Jackets needed a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. They may have been slim, but a win against the Raiders would have meant the season-finale would definitely mean something. I know you won’t believe this, but in the middle of the fourth quarter Denison was down just a touchdown. And unfortunately by the end of the game, the playoff dreams were dashed.
